"Hurricane Matthew hit the most vulnerable and impoverished areas in three Caribbean countries. ACT members are coordinating with the UN, governments and other CSOs to be more effective in the response, doing a lot with few resources. Thanks to this coordination, many planned components are being implemented in each country despite none of the appeals reaching their targets.
"ACT members are struggling to reach those who are not receiving any aid due to the lack of access or resources from governments and other entities. There are often logistical challenges, including not having enough materials or products available to carry out the planned activities. In Haiti some security issues exist, but they do not prevent our members from doing their valuable work."
